There is much more to creating a web site than meets the eye. At North Carolina Web Design one of our main goals is making the tasks of web site creation and design straight forward. Whether you're new to the web, or internet-savvy, North Carolina Web Design is here to help. We view site creation as an ongoing process. Being flexible in our approach aids us in designing each site on a custom basis. We custom design our creative work based on our clients current and future requirements. This way a web design can be easily given a face lift or edited to make way for future demands.

It's good to talk.......we believe this to be true and therefore from first contact to final web site publishing we encourage our clients to communicate their needs to us at all times. As with any communications between clients and ourselves there is no initial consultation fee. There is no pressure, no sales pitch, our first contact with our clients is an exchange of information. We have found it especially helpful for clients to read over our prepare section. This includes hints and tips on most creative issues that will arise during first contact.

Once you have contacted us and an outline for your site has been agreed upon we will provide you with an estimate of all the costs included to have your site published. There is no cost to you associated with this estimate( Free Design only for Schools or other worthy causes). Currently we are providing and evaluating a method which allows us to provide pre design sample work for your web presence. We believe that we provide the most cost effective custom web design solution though out the Carolina area. We pass on savings to our clients by looking at the overall aspects and difficulty of web site creation & hosting needs rather than zoning in on the smaller less relevant areas such as graphic, page and word count.

Work will commerce on your web site as soon as you have accepted our proposed estimate. A contract will be issued to you for signing. Upon signing 1/3rd of the estimate price will be due for payment. Domain name and web site hosting facilities will be secured. Further payments amounting to 1/3 of the total cost will be due on completion of the second web design draft and publishing of the web site design.

A web presence is in most cases an extension of an off-line business, personal taste or ethos. At this stage in the creation process it is important that you provide us with any text, photos, graphics ect... that you want included on your web site. This will include items such as personal photos, company logos, references, phone numbers ect... This provides us the opportunity to perform any custom retouches, as required, to existing information.

Following this a web site draft will be created. This will include all of the major aspects of your web presence such as content, navigation, page layout, scripting, color scheme and any custom banners or logos. We will arrange for this site design draft to be published to an undisclosed location on the world wide web for your viewing. Once you have viewed the web design draft it will be removed form the internet. At this stage we will seek your recommendations as to which, if any, changes are required. This client feedback will be used to create a final draft, which we will publish in much the same way as the first draft. After consultation with you finishing touches will be applied to the design.

Following this a web site draft will be created. This will include all of the major aspects of your web presence such as content, navigation, page layout, scripting, color scheme and any custom banners or logos. We will arrange for this site design draft to be published to an undisclosed location on the world wide web for your viewing. Once you have viewed the web design draft it will be removed from the internet. At this stage we will seek your recommendations as to which, if any, changes are required.

This client feedback will be used to create a final draft, which we will publish in much the same way as the first draft. After consultation with you, finishing touches will be applied to the design. North Carolina Web Design will submit your web site to the major free search engines and a number of the smaller engines to ensure that your site is promoted. Your custom web design will be pre-configured during the early drafts to ensure that your site is search engine friendly and well received by the majority of today's Internet search engines.
